On Thursday, December 15 at 7 P.M., Fundación Shakespeare Argentina (FSA) alongside EUDEBA and PROTEATRO held the book launch of Dos Ilustres Lunáticos o la Divergencia universal (Two Illustrious Lunatics, or The Universal Divergence) by Leopoldo Lugones, in a bilingual edition and with illustrations by Rep at the Juan L Ortiz Hall of the National Library.

The book is an initiative of the Fundación Shakespeare Argentina (FSA) in honour of William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra on the IV Centennial of the death of both geniuses.

FSA rescues from oblivion this exquisite short play by the great Argentine Poet and Writer Leopoldo Lugones published in his famous book Lunario Sentimental (Sentimental Lunar Almanac) in 1909.

In the play, Lugones narrates an imaginary encounter between Prince Hamlet and Don Quixote, at the turn of the twentieth century, after both characters are stranded at a train station due to a train strike.

The book was presented by Esteban Lo Presti (EUDEBA), Carlos Drocchi (FSA), Eugenio Polisky (translator) and the ilustrator Miguel Repiso (Rep)
