Fundación Shakespeare Argentina (FSA) attended the 28th International Conference of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) in the city of Cincinnati (Ohio, USA) which took place from 14th to 21rd January 2018, hosted by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company sharing another wonderful and inspiring encounter celebrating Shakespeare’s works worldwide.

FSA presented a stage reading of the short play Two Illustious Lunatics or the Universal Divergence (Dos Ilustres Lunáticos o la Divergencia Universal) written by Argentine Poet Leopoldo Lugones (1874-1938) published in 1909 in his famous book Lunario Sentimental.

The American actor and artistic director Grant Mudge and the British actor & practitioner Ben Crystal shared a magic night reading of the hilarious and witty Play.

Mercedes de la Torre, Ben Crystal, Grant Mudge & Carlos Drocchi

At FSA we wish to express our gratitude to Ben & Grant for their outright acceptance and full disposition towards bringing this unknown text to live in english, facing a shakespearean international audience.

We also thank all members of STA and the team at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company for this extraordinary opportunity.

Happy to have participated in this amazing Conference sharing dreams, projects and our culture with excellent artists, directors, scholars, and producers of Shakespeare from around the globe.

THANK YOU!!!
