FSA cooperates with and is part of the international MIT’s project “Global Shakespeares”.

The goal of Global Shakespeares is to promote the study of Shakespeare in an innovative way, and the understanding amongst different cultures.

One of the most interesting features of the platform is that visitors can appreciate the same play being produced in different countries, and therefore observe how different cultures interpret the same relevant scenes.
FSA is proud of having made possible Argentine productions be part of such a prestigious educational platform, helping to spread the Argentine artists worldwide. Hamlet, La Metamorfosis, starred by Gabriela Toscano, was the first production included. Two important Argentine snd complete productions have been included: Noche de Reyes, directed by Jorge Azurmendi, and Rey Lear, starred by Alfredo Alcón and directed by Rubén Szuchmacher, are available to watch online.

This important educational platform is used in different universities around the world: It is also visited by specialized scholars since it is one of the most valuable sources on the subject.

We invite all educational institutions to promote the use of this wonderful resource and recommend it to faculty and students.
