A heartfelt Homage to Shakespeare at XII Buenos Aires Theatre Book Fair 2014 took place at Teatro Nacional Cervantes.
A very well-received, dramatised reading of the Play “Hasta la última sílaba del tiempo, sobre Shakespeare y sus obras” by Alberto Wainer (author) and Jorge Azurmendi (director) was performed at the “Salón Dorado” (Golden Hall).
The play threads different scenes from Shakespeare ́s Richard III, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet & Othello read out by Argentina ́s renowned stage actors (in alphabetical order): Maia Francia, Claudio Gallardou, Osmar Núñez, Gustavo Pardi & Ingrid Pelicori. The cast was completed with the music ensamble “Antires” (Baroque-Renaissance) formed by Gabriela Bogo (Vocal), Natacha Cabezas (Archilute), Sebastián Strauchler (Lute).
