She has lived, studied and worked in the UK and Canada. She served as the Director of Culture for The Bahamas for five years. She is a playwright, poet, fiction writer, and anthropologist, and is a Professor of Social Sciences at the University of The Bahamas. She is also a theater producer and director, and is founder and director of the Shakespeare in Paradise festival, co-founder and vice Chair of the Dundas Center for Performing Arts in Nassau, Bahamas. Since January 2023 she is President of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Delores Archer Adderley Bio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Delores Archer Adderley has been committed to promoting Bahamian Culture and Performing Arts for decades.
