Fundación Shakespeare Argentina is pleased to share an interview with the Directors of Shakespeare in Paradise, Dr. Nicolette Bethel and Delores Archer Adderley, held on the occasion of the recent International Shakespeare Theatre Association Conference that took place in Nassau, (The Bahamas) on January 2023.

Nicolette Bethel Bio
Dr. Nicolette Bethel was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She has lived, studied and worked in the UK and Canada. She served as the Director of Culture for The Bahamas for five years. She is a playwright, poet, fiction writer, and anthropologist, and is a Professor of Social Sciences at the University of The Bahamas. She is also a theater producer and director, and is founder and director of the Shakespeare in Paradise festival, co-founder and vice Chair of the Dundas Center for Performing Arts in Nassau, Bahamas. Since January 2023 she is President of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA).
Delores Archer Adderley Bio
Delores Archer Adderley has been committed to promoting Bahamian Culture and Performing Arts for decades. She is Manager of the Dundas Center for the Performing Arts and of Shakespeare in Paradise.
