The worldwide famous story teller Samira Kirollos visited and performed in Buenos Aires for the first time. Sponsored by the Embassy of Egypt in Buenos Aires & Fundación Shakespeare Argentina, she arrived from Cairo to perform “”Shakespeare’s Cleopatra and Ours”” a story based on historical facts and quotes out from Shakespeare’s Antony & Cleopatra.
Samira Kirollos studied English Literature at the American University at Cairo; got a Master’s degree in Theatre Studies from Minnesota U. and a PhD. in Theatre from Stanford U.
Samira Kirollos published a number of stories and audio books of her authorship under such titles as : Egypt, four visionary men; Egypt, four inspirational woman; Wind children; and Other tales from Japan, among others.
